[edit] WebEx and Min Zhu arb case

Hello Alex ex, I thought you should know that several people (myself included) are using your warning to Larvatus see here in a Rfar case [1]. No action necessary on your part. Of course, your thoughts are welcome. --FloNight 15:57, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

Wow, there is so much on this issue! I am glad to see that. Thanks for letting me know. Alex ex 12:28, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] {{da icon}}

The line breaks in the template were messing up the paragraphs the template was inserted in. It made all text following the template move down to the line below, ruining the text. I don't know which line break caused the template to behave in that way, so I played it safe and just removed all spaces. If you can make it work with spaces in the template without ruining the sentence it is placed in, of course you should just do that. Poulsen 15:08, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

: I think, I've got it. The line breaks inside 'nowiki'-tags do not cause anything, just the breaks outside. Alex ex 15:22, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Iraq war template

As I read that you wanted to keep ROGNNTUDJUU!'s template user talk:ROGNNTUDJUU!/User against Iraq war of aggression, I'd like to point out to you that the code is still there:

De mortuis... 20:54, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Oh, I didn't know that it's so large... Thanks anyway. Alex ex 20:26, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of vegetable oils

Hi, Alex. I was in the middle of a complete rewrite when you kindly made a change to List of vegetable oils. Would you take a look and make sure that I correctly caught the changes you made, and incorporated them, please? Thanks! Waitak 10:01, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Yes, everyhting's fine, thank you! Alex ex 10:22, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Moby Edits

Well what got me is that the passage on religion did not make it into your version. Make sure to not delete any major stuff but feel free to re-organize it and explain your reasons on the talk page. --8bitJake 17:01, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

A passage about religion? If you mean the part Moby is a vegan, non-denominational Christian... - it's a first sentence in the section "Beside music". Was there anything else that I really missed? Alex ex 20:23, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User page

Per your request, I am fixing some of the spelling and grammar on your user page. Jbhood 17:57, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Well, I did mean articles, not exactly my user page, but - THANKS! It looks better now. Alex ex 08:12, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 35007

Hi Alex, I notice you recently created 35007. The page could perhaps do with a little work to reach WP:MUSIC, verification of e.g. serious press coverage or the notability of the record label would go a long way towards this. Cheers, Deizio talk 16:21, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Well, I added link-templates for allmusic and musicbrainz to the article. They toured at least Germany and there are lots of reviews of their albums, which I didn't find very important to inlude them to the article. googling for the band's name brings lots of results and in fact there were articles in three more wikipedias (all written not by me) and some internal links, before I created the english article. I hope, that there will be no doubt in their notability. Well, it is of course not one of the most popular bands of the world, but quite notable, at least in the european stoner rock scene. [edit] Sea Under A Coat

Hi Alex, I'm sorry if I'm not the first to ask, but can you please give me the recipie for your Sea Under A Coat salad? I'm a big health enthusiast. Thanks! -nofreaksforus (i have an account but can't get it to sign with anything besides my IP portal!!)

The recipe is not a secret, but something is suspicious in this post... - User:nofreaksforus does not exist. Tell me your correct user name, I'll be glad to share it on your discussion page. Sorry, if it's too mistrustful, but why should one give a wrong user name? Alex ex 11:10, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

I can't blame you for not trusting me, I signed up the day I posted that question. I'm totally new here and whenever I tried to log in (after registering) it told me there was no account in that name and when I checked the confirmation email (and I did confirm my account), it was the same login name as the name wiki said did not exist. So I just made a new account. For some reason this one's working now. I hope. And my name didn't work because I went in and instead of using a signature I just wrote 'nofreaksforus' out.Pesya 06:46, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quelia

Hey Alex, thanks for all the attention you've given to the Quelia article. I agree that "Quelia" is a problematic term, but I think the current title of the article is a bit awkward. Do you think we could come up with a better name? The German wiki calls it "Deutschrussisch". Maybe we could re-title it "German-Russian" or "German-Rusian pidgin" or something. Let me know what your thoughts are on the subject. Thanks again. Aelffin 18:01, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Well, actually there is no "official" name for this language, so I don't have any better idea, as long as new terms are not allowed (because of NPOV). Language of russian-speaking immigrants in Germany seems to be neutral and self-explaining. But if you will suggest a better or shorter title, I have nothing against it. "German-Russian pidgin" sounds good. Or maybe "Russian-German pidgin". It depends of which form is better if russian language dominates. Alex ex 19:09, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User:Sergii-rachmonov/Soviet anthem parody

I've refused the speedy on this user subpage you nominated as criteria G10, because it seems to me that the subject is the parody of the Soviet anthem rather than the anthem itself. User pages are not entirely subject to the same NPOV requirements as articles. However it is a questionable page and you might want to nominate it as Miscellany for deletion. Sam Blacketer 19:35, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Of course it is a parody, but it's too negative even for a user's page, don't you think? It's more uncyclopedia kind of stuff. Alex Ex 19:59, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Go ahead and nominate it if you think it violates policy. Sam Blacketer 20:38, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
You know me? Delete that page. That is a shit! Anyone blames me about this. You can delete it. --vonusovef (wha?) 03:08, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
I don't know you, and I don't blame you. I just said how I feel about it. Thanks for a kind permission to delete it, I'll suggest it for quick deletion again... Alex Ex 06:37, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
