[edit] Feedback
I use it every day, I love it, and the only problem I have is with the weeks Alex was on vacation. Katr67 20:24, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- I check it every week or so, sometimes more often. Since I think only WP:ORE folks use it, is there a way to knockout articles that already have the WPOR project banner at the time the bot is run? Not a big issue, just convienance. Aboutmovies 21:44, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
I look at it every day too. It's a great tool. --Esprqii 22:53, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

- Actually, I'd prefer it still list WPOR articles even if tagged. That way I have an idea how many new articles join the project just by having another watchlist item. Instead, perhaps it could add some indication to the entry that it was already tagged? —EncMstr 07:03, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Missing article
- Peggy Y. Fowler did not make this list, but it also appears it was missed entirely by your new article bot. Aboutmovies (talk) 01:53, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
These three were all created November 30, 2007. Maybe the bot was taking a holiday? I see it didn't make an entry that day. It found three articles the next day okay: Black Canyon Wilderness (Oregon), Waldo Lake Wilderness, and Wild Rogue Wilderness. Perhaps it doesn't look in time before its normal interval? —EncMstr 02:40, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- FYI, new article fans, this won't help with the above problem, but you might want to watchlist Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Oregon articles by quality/1 - 12. I catch newly tagged articles and ratings changes to articles that are already tagged that way. Sometimes I find someone has removed the WPORE tag for some unknown reason and that is the only way I know to do it unless it's already on your personal watchlist. I also skim through User:AlexNewArtBot/OregonLog. Once in a while a result there doesn't make it to this page. As for the bot skipping a day, I remember that when I asked about having the bot go back and find articles that were created when Alex was on vacation, apparently it would have been nearly impossible, unfortunately... [edit] Missing articles
The bot seems to be misfiring lately...in the past couple of weeks, it has missed:
All had pretty solid Oregon creds, so I'm not sure what's going on. Of course these are only articles I am aware of; no idea how many others escaped scrutiny. They seem to have been completely missed by the bot rather than just found to not qualify. --Esprqii (talk) 18:33, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- I just left a note on Alex's page, I'm not sure he watches this one. Katr67 (talk) 19:23, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

FYI. Not sure why, but your program picked up Summer Lake, Oregon -- the town, but not Summer Lake (Oregon) -- the lake.--Orygun (talk) 04:34, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Dee Wright Observatory didn't get picked up either. Article doesn't have "Oregon" in title, but category links are all Oregon related--e.g. Cascade Range/Lane County, Oregon/etc.--Orygun (talk) 03:24, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Eugene "Debbs" Potts is another Oregon article that didn't get picked up. Had "Oregon" hot-button in first line and several Oregon catagory links at the bottom.--Orygun (talk) 04:04, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- The observatory did make it, sometimes it takes a day or two before the bot runs. Aboutmovies (talk) 04:08, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
Rim Village, Oregon was overlooked. Seems like that would be easy article to be picked up as Oregon topic.--Orygun (talk) 04:13, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
