Admins, or administrators, or sysops (system operators), are certain Wikipedians who are selected by the community to gain certain extra privileges. Those privileges, including the ability to delete pages, to protect pages from editing and to block and ban abusive users, are used to maintain the Wikipedia project. A tag has been placed on Template:Mycat requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Hi. In enacting consensus from User categories for discussion, I have removed the category Category:Wikipedians interested in books from your userpage. It was determined in that deletion debate that this category should be depopulated of individuals, but kept as a parent category. If you wish to display a category reflecting your interest in books, please consider one of the specific sub-categories under its umbrella.
