Why you remove my text in Amazing race? Tell me.
- It looks like a mistake on Madchester's part. Don't worry about it :) And welcome to Wikipedia! Ashibaka tock 08:12, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
Is broken my heart after all i edit was removed in a second, althought all i edit is true. Why???????
- I'm not sure why Madchester removed your additions, but it looks like he is getting a lot of complaints from other people, too. I'll put back the information for you-- feel free to start working on some other articles. Sorry about the rough start. Ashibaka tock 08:24, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
Althought season 1-4 is out of what i edit, i remained very sadness. Is that wrong???
Please review Wikipedia:Reliable sources and the actual articles before making edits. Thanks. --Madchester 08:36, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
why TAR2 only noted down 10 roadblock performed by winners?
What I put is wrong, i don't think so????????
Feb. 4 edits
Please note that the appropriate links for the Race pages have already been provided; unless there's been some mistake I don't think those additional details are necessary. Please note that Wikipedia_is_not_an_indiscriminate_collection_of_information. i.e., we can't simply add lists or information without the details containing some relevance to the entire article. Thanks.
P.S., I recommend that you visit the Wikipedia:Boot camp, because it seems like you haven't the hang of the wiki-code used for the site. --Madchester 06:45, 4 February 2006 (UTC)
Help has arrived
You wanted some help, here I am! How can I help you? You can ask your questions right here, and I will respond.--Commander Keane 03:43, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Oops, i unknow how to do a box which can contains information even see the wiki-help. So, lets teach me. Thank you.
- I'm not sure what you mean. Could you explain more, or give me an example of what you want help with.--Commander Keane 04:02, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Can you see the Batoka Gorge on information and tell me how to create into the Table. Thank you.
- OK, I created a table at Batoka Gorge. I based the design on Template:Infobox Mountain - there isn't an Infobox for gorges so I made up a new table myself.--Commander Keane 04:27, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
How to enlarge the picture and put it on the left from right? Thank you.
- I'm note sure what you want to do with the picture. I should let you know that all of the information in Batoka Gorge is stolen from websites. Therfore all the stolen infomation will have to be removed. That probably inlcudes the picture. We cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, take a look at our Five Pillars.--Commander Keane 05:00, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Is it i can write a article with the reference on the webpage?
- You can use webpages as references - but the information you add must be in your own words. You can never cut and paste info from a website.--Commander Keane 05:28, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Please check the article Spitzkoppe, acceptable??? Thank you.
Copyright
You appear to have copied the text of Mukuni Village from another website. Generally wikipedia cannot use text from other sources for copyright reasons, so this article will have to be deleted. Kappa 04:55, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Help request
I'm responding to your help request, how can I help you? Please note that I have restored your talkpage - it's important not to blank it so we can tell what has happended (instead of blanking you could use an archive).--Commander Keane 07:42, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
This is information about Cai Be. Please build it in table. Thank you. Latitude 10.3333 Longitude 106.0333 Altitude (feet) 3 Lat (DMS) 10° 19' 60N Long (DMS) 106° 1' 60E Altitude (meters) 0 Time zone (est) UTC+7
- I couldn't find the article Cai Be. If that's the right name then can start the article (then I'll do the table). Otherwise just tellme the correct name.--Commander Keane 08:05, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
Is appear in Amazing Race 3. I guess you can find it.
I,m already write a short article. So, please insert the information above into the table. Thank you.
- What do you want help with?--Commander Keane 06:19, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
In the 2004 Le Tour de Langkawi, the table i'm created it seem not work. You can correct it. However, i'm need someone to teach me how to create a table. Thank You.
- OK, I fixed them up to show you the mistakes. Wikipedia:How to use tables has some information on making tables, but you seem to do a good job. I will give you some pointers:
- A table starts with
{|
. If you start the table with{| class="wikitable"
then it will get a special style (grey with a border etc) - A table must end with
|}
- A table starts with
- Other than that you did a great job with the tables at 2004 Le Tour de Langkawi.
- I learnt how ot make tables by looking at examples.--Commander Keane 06:34, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
-
- m:Help:Table is also a good resource.--Commander Keane 06:41, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Also, the templates is quiet difficult to do it, can you show me some clue. Thank you.
- A template is usually just a table saved in the template namespace. For example Template:Hinduism footer small. Something that is saved in the template namespace can be put into any wikipedia page. For example, to put Template:Hinduism footer small on a page you can use {{Hinduism footer small}}.--Commander Keane 06:59, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
How to save the templates into namespace???
- Just like creating a new article, except the location will have "Template:" in it. For example to create a new template called "Foogle" you would go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Foogle and click on "Start the Foogle article".--Commander Keane 07:13, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Otherwise i give you the information, and create it to me:2004 Le Tour de Langkawi stage: distance: winner: Sprints Zone: KOM Zone:
- I think the best way to represent the stage/distance/ winner/Sprints Zone/KOM Zone information is within a table - not in a template.--Commander Keane 08:07, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Hi! What do you want help with?--Commander Keane 05:57, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
How to split the data on left and right separately???
- I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean in a table? Could you give me an example please.--Commander Keane 06:12, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Example:
- Liverpool
- Arsenal
- MU
- Chelsea
I want to split half to left, and the other half to right. You have any idea???
- You will need to look in the edit window to see the solutions:
|
|
- OR
|
|
I don't know a way to do it without a table.--Commander Keane 06:33, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
How i can protect my article not spoil by other person???
- Only pages that are getting a lot of vandalism get protected. If there is an article you want protected becasue it is getting heavy vandalism you can ask an admin to semi or fully protect it. Wikipedia:This page is protected has more info, particularly Wikipedia:Protection policy.--Commander Keane 06:58, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
What is spoiler warning???
And no red font on tour de langkawi 2006 that need to edit, it just look ugly to my article. Thank you.
- A spoiler warning is usally found on book or film pages. It is there to warm readers that the Wikipedia article reveals the end of the book or film - and thus it "spoils" the ending. It might be on 2006 Le Tour de Langkawi becasue the Wikipedia article reveals the ending of the stage before readers get a chance to watch it on TV.
- I'm not sure what you mean about the red font. Is there something you want me to help you with about the red font?--Commander Keane 07:13, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
No, no.Usually the blank article will appear in red font, so i not like this except u want to edit .Thank u

Helpme
Hi, what do you want help with?--Commander Keane 07:20, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
when i search for the Le Tour de Langkawi on the search box, why it can't go through the article???
- When I type in "Le Tour de Langkawi" and press search Le Tour de Langkawi comes up as the first search result - that's fine. "2006 Le Tour de Langkawi" doesn't bring up 2006 Le Tour de Langkawi becasue the search index is a couple of weeks old, hopefully it will get updated soon. Pressing Go takes you straight to both articles.--Commander Keane 07:45, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
When i upload the photo from Yahoo! Images, is it illegal???
- Yes, it probably is illegal. It depends on the licence of the image, but if you don't know the licence then it could be copyright and that would be illegal. Wikipedia:Images and Wikipedia:Fair_use#Images has some more information.--Commander Keane 08:08, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
How to copyright???
- Most images on the internet are copyright (usually the website has the copyright info at bottom of the site). We can use some some copyright images, for example logos, under the Fair use law. Generally images are copyright and we cannot use them. If you have a specific image I can tell you if we can use it.--Commander Keane 09:26, 13 February 2006 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:Songwehut.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Songwehut.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (bounties) 14:33, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi! What do you need help with? By the way, it would be helpful if in the future you could post your question along with the {{helpme}} so that it could be answered more promptly. — flamingspinach | (talk) 08:05, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
Do you have The Amazing Race Central Europe Image??? And how to discussion???
- I assume you are referring to the article you created, The Amazing Race Central Europe? {{helpme}} is intended to ask for help about how to use Wikipedia, but I can offer you this advice - try looking for suitable images on the sites you referenced in the article, and if that fails, use Google Image Search. Make sure to check the copyright status of any images you upload to Wikipedia. Hope that helped. Also, please consider signing your posts with

Image copyright problem with Image:Small_470.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Small_470.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 11:56, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
Help
Hello. What kind of help do you need. Pepsidrinka 03:56, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
How to edit why we edit which shown on history page??? Example(Reverted info by......)
- What you might be seeing the the edit summary left by rollback. Administrators have a button ([rollback]), to help them revert vandalism. It leaves an automatic edit summary. Something like: "Reverted edits by 71.96.215.170 (talk) to last version by Zogane". When normal users revert vandalism they can simply use the edit summary "reverted vandalism".--Commander Keane 04:47, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
What is Edit Summary, isi't let us to put why edit this page???
- Yes, it is a oppurtunity to summarize your edits, to a certain extent justify your edits. Any contentious edits can and should be justified on the corresponding talk page. Pepsidrinka 04:56, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Help:Edit summary has more information. The edit summary can't be changed once it is made.--Commander Keane 08:34, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Your use of English
I don't want to be hard on you, but while you claim to be a native speaker of English on your user page, your edits point to you being more towards en-2 (intermediate). This certainly doesn't mean your contributions aren't valuable, as someone else with a better knowledge of English can help clean them up. However, since I see you are trying to make positive edits, I'd like to offer my help to you if I can. I don't know what your native language is, so I may not be able to help translate it better, but I can try to help you understand, and write, better in English. Feel free to contact me on my talk page, because I'd love to help you out. :-) -- SonicAD (talk) 06:56, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

Can we build CHART on Wikipedia??? Aleenf1 06:26, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
- What exactly is "CHART"? Pepsidrinka 06:33, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
Like bar chart, line chart...... Aleenf1 06:40, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
- As far as I know, if there is no html method of building charts, then you cannot. However, you can create an image of the chart and upload the image. Pepsidrinka 06:46, 19 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- There currently isn't a chart feature in Wikipedia. However, there is EasyTimeline. An example of where it is used: here.--Commander Keane 07:16, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

How to sort a data table??? Aleenf1 04:13, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but data in tables has to be sorted manually. Usually alphabetical order is used. However, for a race for example, the table would be sorted in the finishing order etc.--Commander Keane 04:26, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
Can be any tools to helpme??? Aleenf1 04:31, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know any tools to sort a table. You could try asking at the Help desk to get more opinions.--Commander Keane 04:33, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

Your Request for Adminship
Hi Aleenf1. Thank you for offering to serve in the role of admin, but unfortunately your current level of experience on Wikipedia means that there is really no realistic chance that you will be promoted. I would therefore like to suggest that you remove your nomination and consider reapplying when you have a little more experience (something in the region of 2,000 edits is normally the minimum to enable promotion). The number of edits that you make is, of course, not the only criteria and you may with to have a look here to get further guidance on what people normally look for in a candidate. Thanks TigerShark 11:42, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- OK, I have removed it as you requested. Thanks again for taking the time to nominate yourself, and I looking forward to supporting a future nomination. Cheers TigerShark 12:05, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Hi Aleenf1, Thanks for letting me know about your proposed project. I signed up for WikiProject Badminton today.--SVTCobra 21:57, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
You inspired me and I did this to Peter Rasmussen. Of course, it led to more dead links to both players and tournaments. More work for the project, I guess. I will tend to focus on Danish badminton players, because I can read the pages in their home language. Since you are in Malaysia, we might make pretty good partners, since SE Asia and N Europe are the only areas that matter in badminton. Well, save for Kevin Qi Han. Oh, there's another stub. OK, I will try to handle American ones also--SVTCobra 03:00, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

VandalProof 1.2 Now Available
After a lenghty, but much-needed Wikibreak, I'm happy to announce that version 1.2 of VandalProof is now available for download! Beyond fixing some of the most obnoxious bugs, like the persistent crash on start-up that many have experienced, version 1.2 also offers a wide variety of new features, including a stub-sorter, a global user whitelist and blacklist, navigational controls, and greater customization. You can find a full list of the new features here. While I believe this release to be a significant improvement over the last, it's nonetheless nowhere near the end of the line for VandalProof. Thanks to Rob Church, I now have an account on test.wikipedia.org with SysOp rights and have already been hard at work incorporating administrative tools into VandalProof, which I plan to make available in the near future. An example of one such SysOp tool that I'm working on incorporating is my simple history merge tool, which simplifies the process of performing history merges from one article into another. Anyway, if you haven't already, I'd encourage you to download and install version 1.2 and take it out for a test-drive. As always, your suggestions for improvement are always appreciated, and I hope that you will find this new version useful. Happy editing! --AmiDaniel (talk) 02:04, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
