I am the Alec Somerville who wrote all the lyrics for the Brothers in Law group in the 1960's. I am a Life Member of SOCAN (formerly CAPAC) and I nowadays live in Ireland. I still write songs, some satirical, some serious, one of my last efforts was 'The Beach of Dieppe' used in Memorial Services at Windsor for the men of the Essex Scottish who perished in that shambles. I also write short stories and hope to publish a collection one day. I will be writing in the future about the Brothers in Law and wht happened with them and their recordings... Alec
