[edit] vs Kasparov

Shirov still has never beaten Kasparov has he? RedWolf 22:24, Jun 4, 2004 (UTC)

Apparently not according to chessgames.com. The site lists 32 games between them and Kasparov is +15 =17 versus Shirov. RedWolf 17:52, Oct 3, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] sample game

According to Deep Fritz and Rybka, Shirnov already had a won game before 47... Bh3. The evaluation after that move isn't much different. They also say that 50. Bxf6 was a bad move. But I'm not going to change this in the article. Bubba73 (talk), 16:55, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Engines would have to run for a long long time to recognise such complex strategic subtleties, especially in an endgame position. Karsten Muller says in his study that 47... Bh3!! is in fact the only winning move. [1] --Cammacleay (talk) 03:44, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
