If you look at WP:Cite it tell you how to do foot notes in wiki code (p.s. web links only need one set of []) Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies)#Academic titles relates to the removal of titles in general text. Also "he has changed the face of martial arts forever" is an opinion unless sourced see WP:NPOV, so not appropriate, the ISBN(international standard book number) request was a hidden comment as it is helpful is someone wants to find the book.
