[edit] high school carrer
I started the high school carrer could someone add more to it
[edit] Neutral Point of View
"He has struggled mightily so far this season. He has been sacked 19 times, has yet to throw a touchdown pass and has thrown nine interceptions for a QB rating of 24.7. This could be attributed to their lack of talent and productivity on offense. Furthermore, some in the NFL have gone so far as to compare Smith to a "bust" rather than a "boom." Some still question the 49ers' willingness to draft a quarterback despite the team having three serviceable quarterbacks prior to the 2005 season."
I dont believe that this paragraph conforms to the Neutral Point of View policy here on Wikipedia. It is full of opinions, rather than straight fact. - Seandals 11:56, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Error
To dr31 (I think?)--you're confusing Matt Cassel (the Pats first pick in the seventh round) with Andy Stokes (their second pick, and Mr. Irrelevant). I've fixed the error. Stismail 18:03, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image
I added a Getty image of Alex Smith - thought it might dress up the article a bit.
[edit] Added
I added some content - expanded greatly on the high school career and the 2006 season sections (which both really didn't have much in them), updated the colors and tried to improve this article. I also reorganized it to fit the more traditional style of NFL quarterbacks (See entries for quarterbacks such as Peyton Manning for that style).
I'll spend some more time on it this weekend to make it as good as possible. I'll attempt to expand on his college section, and rework some of the clumsy grammer and other such nitpicky problems. ~GambitMG
[edit] Colors
OMFG, what the hell, leave the colors to what I set them. The 49ers are a deep crimson red and gold, not that pink shit that it was set at. I'd go do this edit to every 49ers player on wiki, but I don't want to do it right now. So please for the love of all that is holy, LEAVE THE COLORS ALONE!!! GambitMG 22:25, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- The colors down at the bottom on his record at the U of U are messed up. The black text on the dark red cannot be seen at all.
[edit] Place of birth
In "The ESPN Pro Football Encyclopedia" and the Weblinks was Seattle the Place of Birth. Only in this Article is Bremerton the Place of Birth. Gulp 08:35, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- on the yahoo data it also says Seattle as the place of birth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.121.247.116 (talk) 03:05, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] LSAT Score
According to the article, he got a 179 on his LSATs. I did my best to find a source for this information and couldn't find it so it's being removed - if someone does find a source, feel free to put it back but be sure to cite it. Denkc 10:10, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 4.4 GPA?
Is that possible? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.213.14.98 (talk) 06:16, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
