[edit] Blackburn?

The article says he started his career at Blackburn, but soccerbase says Birmingham, which I'm inclined to believe. I have changed the article to reflect that, pending evidence to the contrary.  sʟυмɢυм • т  c  00:41, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Birmingham bought him from Blackburn. I don't think Bruce was ever a regular at Blackburn and most people think that Bruce bought him to get his son away from Blackburn after the Robbie Savage scandal. (Fragmaroom 12:19, 10 February 2007 (UTC))

Have fixed chronology. He started at Man U in the academy, then went to Blackburn when released, never played for the first team, then as Fragmaroom says he was in an untenable position at Blackburn after the Bowen/Savage thing. He joined Bham after 1 month of his scheduled 3 months loan at Oldham and was allowed to stay for the remainder (or most of, anyway). Soccerbase has it wrong. Struway (talk) 13:09, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
