Talk:Alec Reeves
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A significant (all?) part of this article added by 61.61.254.9 has been copied from the web site http://www.radarpages.co.uk/people/reeves/reeves1.htm Is there permission to do so, otherwise we have to return to a former edition. Dsc 19:16, 28 July 2005 (UTC)
The bulk of this article - which is indeed repeated in www.radarpages.co.uk/people/reeves/reeves1.htm and in various telephone history sites was written by me as part of an ongoing project that will eventually, I hope, lead to the publication of a biography of Alec Reeves. References to or examples my work on Reeves appear in the sites mentioned above and also on sites beloping to the (British) IET, to Imperial College, London and elsewhere.
I have no objection to the use of my work on Wikpedia - but an acknowledgment would be appreciated!

- David, if you indeed release your text to be used on Wikipedia, you must do one of two things for us to be able to use it here. You must either change the Web site where the source appears to read that you release the text under the GFDL, or contact the Wikimedia Foundation from a related e-mail address stating the same. Thanks. --Spike Wilbury ♫ talk 03:54, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- Well, since no response I have deleted the article as a copyvio and created a basic stub. If we receive permission we can restore the article. --Spike Wilbury ♫ talk 04:07, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
