[edit] Empire's girlfriend

Where is the information about Empire's girlfriend leaving him after listening to this record from? And why it was so? What should be the reason for such descision? Did he ever have a gierlfriend? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.82.66.121 (talk • contribs). (12 May 2006)

Hey there, I'll answer your questions in the order given:
  • This information is found in the NME review of the album [1] linked at the bottom of the article.
  • (Your second and third questions) Presumably she was an Elvis fan and didn't like hearing his music rearranged in such a fashion, thus she didn't wish to be further associated with the man who did it. Who knows, maybe she was the reason he got into the rockabilly scene and Elvis at that time.
  • I don't know the man personally, but yes. Yes he did.
Hope this clarifies things for you. Cheers, Dwdmang 17:11, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
