Alexis Hornbuckle (born Alexis Kay'ree Hornbuckle, October 16, 1985 in Charleston, West Virginia) is an American professional basketball player for the Detroit Shock in the WNBA.

Hornbuckle attended South Charleston High School.she also was on the soccer player and was a star on her highschool basketball team.

Hornbuckle graduated in 2008 from the University of Tennessee. Overall she helped the Lady Vols achieve 2 NCAA Championships.

Hornbuckle earned 2007 All-SEC First Team, 2007 SEC All-Tournament Team and 2005 All-SEC Freshmen Team honors. she also set th record for all time steal leader at the University of Tennessee.

In the 2008 WNBA Draft, Hornbuckle was selected by the Detroit Shock in the first round (fourth overall).

In Hornbuckle's first game in the WNBA she set a franchise record with 7 steals to go along with 8 points and 2 rebounds coming off the bench and just playing 19 minutes.
