Alexios Schandermani

Alexios Schandermani (born October 25, 1953) is an Iranian German writer. He has lived in Tehran, the capital of Iran, but had to leave the country in the early 60's and emigrated with his parents to Russia. In 1971 he graduated from a special school for foreigners Interdom in the city of Ivanovo in Russia.

- 1974-1978 Master of Arts Degree in Pedagogical Science, Teachers Training College, Dushanbe, Tajikistan, former USSR.
- 1983-1990 Slavic Studies, Free University, Berlin.
- 1995 - Red Cross delegate in Chechnya.
- 1996 - Red Cross delegate in Afghanistan.
- 2002 - German Agro Action delegate in Afghanistan.
