Alexey Viktorovich Barinov (in Russian: Алексей Викторович Баринов, b. December 30, 1951, in Tashabar, Tajik SSR, Soviet Union) is a Russian businessman and politician.
Until 2000 he had worked in the petroleum industry, though In 2005 he was elected Head of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug in 2005. On May 24, 2006, he was arrested and later dismissed by President Vladimir Putin from his position on June 21 .
