Alexandru Lungu (born 3 September 1974) is a Romanian judoka and mixed martial artist. He competed in PRIDE Fighting Championships where he lost to James Thompson via TKO in the 1st round due the strikes to the head. Recently Lungu fought in Cage Rage where he submitted Mark Buchanan via keylock (Americana).Lungu is also a 33 time judo champion all in native Romania.Lungu is the first romanian mixed martial artist.
