Alexandra Park, Manchester

Alexandra Park is a 60 acre park in the Moss Side/Whalley Range districts of Manchester, England and opened in 1868.

The park is a well known site of an annual Caribbean music festival.[1] Located between Princess Road, Claremont Road, and Alexandra Road South, in the M14 postcode. Part of Manchester's black history trail.

British aircraft manufacturer Avro was based at the Alexandra Park aerodrome, but left in the 1920s.
