Alexandra Forbes Kerry (born September 5, 1973) is the elder daughter of 2004 US Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry.
Her mother was Julia Thorne, who was married to John Kerry from 1970 until their divorce in 1988. Alexandra has a younger sister, Vanessa Kerry. Both sisters were active in their father's 2004 Presidential campaign.

Kerry holds a B.A. from Brown University and an M.F.A. degree from AFI Conservatory. She had a minor acting role in the 2000 David Mamet film State and Main. She also played a bartender in Mamet's 2004 film Spartan. She appeared as herself in the Garry Trudeau/Robert Altman political satire Tanner on Tanner.
In 2004 she wrote and directed a short film, The Last Full Measure. A documentary directed by her, Maggie and Me, is in production.
At the Cannes Film Festival, she caused a stir when her black gown suddenly became see-through under the flashbulbs of the paparazzi.[1]
