Alexander Voloshin

Alexander Staliyevich Voloshin (Russian: Александр Стальевич Волóшин) (b. March 3, 1956) is a Russian politician and chairman of Board of Directors of the electricity company Unified Energy System.
He served as head of the Russian presidential administration, or "Chief of Staff", in Russia from 1999 until his resignation on October 29, 2003. While chief of staff, Voloshin was widely regarded as pro-business, and his resignation amidst the prosecutorial focus on Yukos Oil Company, was seen as part of a broader turn away from free-market systems.[1]
