Alexander Ivanik

Alexander Ivanik, born 1968, was a Russian flatwater canoeist and former world and European champion.

Ivanik won three world titles as a member of Russia's K-4 four-man kayak crew. He was also European champion three times, in 1999 (K4 200m and 500m) and 2001 (K4 500m).

He represented Russia in the 1996 and 2000 Olympics in the K-2. At the age of 36 however he missed out on a farewell appearance in the 2004 Olympics when the Russian K-4 boat surprisingly failed to qualify for the Athens games.

He is 1.83 m / 6'0" tall; his racing weight was 85 kg / 187 lbs.
