Alexander Ødegaard (born September 13, 1980 in Førde) is a Norwegian football striker.
Ødegaard was one of the 1980 generation players to break into the first team of Sogndal IL. After a successful 2004 season where he scored 12 league goals for Sogndal, and made his international debut for Norway, his services were wanted by SK Brann and Rosenborg BK.[citation needed] He chose the 13-in-a-row league champions Rosenborg, but his first season was a disappointment, and after the season he was sold to Viking FK in a deal worth €875.000. Ødegaard has scored 4 goals in 12 appearances for Viking in the 2007 season.
