Alexander, Prince of Orange

Alexander, Prince of Orange (Willem Alexander Karel Hendrik Frederik), (The Hague, 25 August 1851 - The Hague, 21 June 1884), Prince of the Netherlands, Prince of Orange-Nassau, was from 11 June 1879 until his death the heir apparent of his father King William III of the Netherlands. His death is important to the current royal family of the Netherlands. Prince Alexander's death made the future Queen Wilhelmina heiress presumptive to the Dutch throne.
