Alex Marcel Valencia (born 22 September 1979 in Bergen) is a Norwegian footballer of Colombian descent (his father is Norwegian, his mother is Colombian). He currently plays for Danish Superliga side AGF. He usually plays on the right wing.
He has previously played at top-flight level for Norwegian Brann and Start. He is regarded as one of the best Norwegian players in his position and was also selected by TV2 Nettavisen and the big Norwegian newspaper VG as 'Tippeliga Player of the Year 2005'[1] playing for IK Start. He has played five times for the Norwegian national team and also won 8 caps for the Norwegian Futsal National team.
