Alex M. Triantafilou (pronounced Tree-aunt-a-FEE-loo) is the Chairman of the [Hamilton County Republican Party] in Cincinnati, Ohio and "of counsel" at the Cincinnati law firm of Dinsmore and Shohl. He previously served as a Judge on the Hamilton County, Ohio Court of Common Pleas in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Judge Triantafilou was born and raised Cincinnati, Ohio to a family of Greek ancestry. He is a graduate of Oak Hills High School, the University of Cincinnati, and the Salmon P. Chase College of Law.

Judge Triantafilou worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters and then for Michael K. Allen.

In 2005, Judge Triantafilou was appointed and subsequently won election to the Hamilton County, Ohio Municipal Court. In 2006, the Judge was appointed to the Hamilton County, Ohio Court of Common Pleas.

As a Judge on the Court of Common Pleas, Judge Triantafilou heard serious felony criminal cases including murder, rape, robbery, and other violent offenses. He also heard civil cases where the dispute is over $15,000 including business litigation and tort actions.

Judge Triantafilou has been involved in the Ohio Mock Trial program through his alma mater, Oak Hills High School.

Before taking the bench, Judge Triantafilou worked on many Republican political campaigns and advised many candidates.

Judge Triantafilou resides in Green Township, Ohio. He is a member of the Greek Orthodox faith.
