Alejandro Antonio "Alex" Prieto [pre-AY-to] (born June 19, 1976 in Caracas, Venezuela) is a Major League Baseball second baseman and right-handed batter who is currently a free agent. Prieto played for the Boston Red Sox AAA-affiliate, the Pawtucket Red Sox in 2007. Prieto's only Major League experience came playing for the Minnesota Twins.
In two seasons, Prieto has batted .209 with one home run and four RBI in 24 games.
