Alex Kweskin

Alexander Ayres Kweskin (born June 19, 1984) is the bass player from the Los Angeles rock band, The Shys. He learned to play piano when in grade school, and learned to play the drums when he was thirteen. Before Mike Walker joined The Shys, he also played drums. However a tragic love affair eventually led to the dismissal of Walker in 2007. He met lead singer Kyle Krone when they were in first grade together at Concordia Elementary in San Clemente. Joined by Chris Wulff, the three formed a band in high school called 'Hush Hush'. He is the third of four children. His brother, Sam Kweskin, occasionally does official photography for The Shys.
