Alex Gibbs (born in Morgantown, North Carolina) is the Assistant Head Coach/Offense Coach for the Houston Texans in the National Football League. He was named to that position on January 11, 2008[1].

After a 14 year career in the college ranks, Gibbs became famous with the Denver Broncos and Terrell Davis in the late 90's. He is best known for his zone blocking that he installed in Denver and later with the Atlanta Falcons in 2004.
