Alex Donnelley (born August 13, 19??) is an American actress best known for originating the role of Diane Jenkins on the popular daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. She played the role from 1982-1986 and from 1996-2001. She also had a small role in Cruel Intentions 3.
Donnelley was born in Frankfurt, Germany. She has two daughters, Kate and Sean, from her former marriage to musician Robert Lamm.[1]
