Alessandro Moscardi

Alessandro Moscardi (born March 2, 1969) is an Italian former rugby union player. He played as a hooker.

Moscardi was born in Rovigo, Veneto. He made his debut for Italy in 1993, when Portugal provided the opposition, and played 45 internationals, including 17 as captain.

In the Autumn of 2000 he was made captain by coach Brad Johnstone. His last appearance in the Azzurri shirt was in the 2002 Six Nations tournament against England.

He led Treviso to the Italian title before announcing his retirement from club rugby in the summer of 2003.
