Alessandro Franciosi (born 20 December 1984) is an Irish/Italian rugby union player. He plays club rugby for his university UCD RFC.

Franciosi's honours include; McCorry Cup winner 2004/05, JP Flanagan League winner 2004/05, Conroy Cup winner 2003/04, Blackrock College Leinster Schools Senior Cup SCT, Leinster Junior Schools Cup JCT winner 2000, Willow Park U-13 winner.

He was awarded university colours on the 17th of November when University College Dublin played Trinity College Dublin in the 55th Colours Match. [[1]]

Franciosi is in his fifth year studying medicine at University College Dublin and also plays in the Dublin Hospitals Cup for St. Vincent's University Hospital.
