Aleris International

Aleris International (NYSE: ARS), is one of the world’s largest recyclers of aluminum and zinc and is headquartered in Beachwood, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. The company is also one of North America’s leading manufacturers of common-alloy sheet from recycled aluminum. In 2007, the company was listed as 468 on the Fortune 500.
Aleris was formed in 2004 through the merger of Commonwealth Industries, Inc. and IMCO Recycling Inc.
