[edit] Early life
Lepistö was born in Helsinki, but moved to Portland, Oregon, with his family. While growing up, he suffered from slipped capital femoral epiphysis but, as a result of a successful operation, he no longer has complications.
[edit] Early career
Lepistö did not attend college in the United States, and instead performed a tryout for professional basketball teams in the Korisliiga.
In his first game in the Korisliiga, Lepistö set a new record for turnovers in a game, with 11, however tied the single game assist record with 17. Since these are preseason stats, they will not be entered into the official records.
[edit] Career
Lepistö will play a small amount of preseason games with ToPo during the start of the 2007-2008 season.
