Aleksandrs Vlasovs (born 7 May 1986 in Liepāja, Latvia) is a football goalkeeper from Latvia. He currently plays for FK Liepājas Metalurgs and has played for Latvia at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 levels.

[edit] Club career
Vlasovs played for FK Venta in the 2005 Virslīga season.[1] After Venta went out of business at the end of the season he joined Liepājas Metalurgs. In the 2006 season he played for Liepājas Metalurgs-2 in the 1. līga, the second tier in Latvian football. On 25 May he scored a penalty for the club when they beat FK Tranzīts Ventspils 6-0.[2]

Vlasovs has played for his country at various levels. He played for the Latvian Under-17's in the UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship in a First qualifying round match against Andorra Under-17's on 26 October 2002 which Latvia won 3-2.[3] In January 2004 Vlasovs played for Latvia Under-18's in the annual Valentin A.Granatkin Memorial International Youth Tournament, held in Moscow, Russia.[4] He played for Latvia at Under-19 level, playing in the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in October 2003.[5] In May 2007 he was named in the Latvian under-21 squad for the 2009 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship qualifiers against Serbia under-21 and Hungary under-21, though he did not play in either match,[6] though he has since played for the Under-21 team.[7]
