Aleksandra Wozniak (born September 7, 1987) is a professional tennis player from Canada. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, and she lives in Blainville, Quebec, in Canada. Thus far in her young career, she has won seven ITF tournaments; and her highest-ever singles ranking on the WTA Tour is 83, which she accomplished on May 21, 2007 after reaching her first WTA Tour finals in Fes, Morocco losing to Milagros Sequera from Venezuela 1–6 3–6. According to her website, she speaks six languages, learned Polish first and she is coached by her father, Antoni.She beat 20th seed Sybille Bammer at Roland Garros and then went on to defeat Agkul Amanduranova until she lost to 11th seed Vera Zvonareva 6-2 6-2, it was by far her best performance at any of the Grand Slams.
