Aleksandr Ponomarev

Aleksandr Ponomarev (Russian: Александр Семёнович Пономарёв; born 23 April 1918 in Gorlovka; died 7 June 1973 in Moscow) was an Ukrainian football player and manager.
He was the head coach of the USSR national football team in 1972, leading the team to second place in UEFA Euro 1972.
