Aleksandr Pogorelov

Aleksandr Pogorelov (Russian: Александр Погорелов; born January 10, 1980 in Kursk) is a Russian decathlete.
He finished 4th in the decathlon at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg.
He also competed in the 2004 Olympics, and finished fifth in the decathlon at the 2005 World Athletics Championships.
