Aleksander Marek Szczygło (pronounced [alɛˈksandɛr ˈmarɛk ˈʃtʃɨgwɔ], born October 27, 1963 in Jeziorany) is a Polish politician. He was elected to Sejm on September 25, 2005 getting 19006 votes in 35 Olsztyn district, candidating from the Law and Justice list.
Since February 7, 2007 Minister of National Defence
He was also a member of Sejm 2001-2005.
