Aleksander Józef Sołtanowicz (11 January 1778, Berberów - 27 April 1841, Paris) - was a Napoleonic Officer, Polish nobleman (szlachcic) and Freemason
During the Napoleonic wars he joined the French Cuirassiers. He fought in almost all most important battles of them. During the wars he was awarded to the Colonel. He was also one of the commanders of the 14th Cuirassier Regiment (Polish: 14 pułk jazdy Kirasjerów Księstwa Warszawskiego) recruited from the Duchy of Warsaw.
After 1815 he emigrated to Paris and started a trade company.
Aleksander Józef Sołtanowicz was also a 33 grade Freemason.
