Aleksandar Matanović

Aleksandar Matanović (born May 23, 1930 in Belgrade) is a Serbian chess Grandmaster with an Elo rating of 2490.[1]

Awarded the GM title in 1955, he was Yugoslav national champion in 1962 (joint), 1969 and 1978. He has also been a radio announcer, author of chess books and Editor in Chief of Chess Informant.[2][3]
