[edit] International career
He has been called up by Mirsad Jonuz, coach of FYR Macedonia U-21 team for the game against Norway U-21. Aleksandar who is of ethnic Macedonian descent did not have a Macedonian passport[citation needed]. In the past he noted that he would want to play for the Republic of Macedonia instead of Serbia. Before the game with Norway his naturalization process was fastened, so he could be called up and play.[1]
