Eduardo Alejandro Lago Correa (born June 28, 1979 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is a Uruguayan football (soccer) player.
Lago, a central defender, is currently playing for Norwegian side Rosenborg B.K.. He has played for the Uruguay national football team and won the Uruguayan league title with his club Peñarol in 2003. Lago was bought by Rosenborg in 2005, alongside countryman Sebastián Eguren. The stay was not a success for the two players, and in January 2006 they were both loaned out ot SK Brann, who also has a preemption on the two players.
On February 8 it was announced that the transfer of both Lago and Eguren was cancelled due to "psychological reasons".
February 2006, he was on loan to Club Atlético Bella Vista (Uruguay). Later, he went back to Scandinavia, and was on loan to the Swedish club IFK Göteborg, from July 1 to December 31, 2006. The Swedish club announced that they did not want to sign Lago on a permanent basis, so he returned to Rosenborg in January 2007.
