Alejandro Alpizar

Alejandro Alpízar Delgado (born June 14, 1979) is a Costa Rican soccer player, who plays for Deportivo Saprissa.

Before moving to Saprissa, he played for Municipal Pérez Zeledón and Saprissa's archrivals L.D. Alajuelense.

He is considered a competent striker, with natural skills for scoring, quickness, shooting and excellent view of the game, making him a very complete player. Although being second on the team in scoring with 12 (averaging almost 200 minutes between goals) and leading the team with assists, he is far from a fan favorite and is often whistled off the field but recent improvement in form has won back some support.[citation needed]
