Alec Smight

Alec Dow Smight is an American film editor and television director born in New York City, and whose current occupation is as a director and editor on the successful series CSI. Son of the well-known television and film director Jack Smight, his editing work includes Chicago Hope, numerous television pilots, Northern Exposure, and L.A. Law. Alec recently segued into directing and his debut CSI episode "The Unusual Suspct" premiered earlier this year in March. His second episode "Burn Out" aired November 2. He is scheduled to direct two more episodes this season. Alec Smight lives in Valencia with his wife and three children, and unrightfully obtained more than 99 percent of his father's estate.
