Alec Linwood

Alexander "Alec" Bryce Linwood (born 13 March 1920; died 26 October 2003) was a Scottish footballer who played for St Mirren, Middlesbrough, Hibernian, Clyde, Greenock Morton and the Scotland national team.
A centre-forward, Linwood scored in his only cap for Scotland, a 2-0 win over Wales in November 1949, although he was also recognised in several unofficial "wartime" internationals.[1] He earned a Scottish League title with Hibs in 1948, his only senior medal.[1]
