Alec Hunter Humanities College (formerly known as Alec Hunter High School) is a comprehensive secondary school, located in Braintree, Essex. It is a mixed school, with no denominational Religion. The School currently educates students from the age of 11-16. The current head teacher is Andrew Hutchinson. The school has a Humanities college Status and specialises in English, History and Citizenship. The school was opened in the 1960s and is named after Alec Hunter who founded the school.
