[edit] GFDL-self of photos

I see that you used {{tl:GFDL-self}} in labeling many of your uploaded photos. Just one question: do you own the copyright to Image:Asian3.jpg and Image:Asian4.jpg, for example? Did you take that picture? Because if you just grabbed it from the Asian Hospital website, then you are doing copyright infringement. --seav (talk) 07:04, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

How do I delete them? Aldrinv (talk) 07:28, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Just add {{db|reason}} to the image page. Replace "reason" with a clear reason. Then an admin will eventually come around (usually within the day) to check it out and if he/she agrees, then will delete the image. Anyway, Wikipedia has to be strict in accepting non-copyright infringing images because, as a free educational resource, it shouldn't have any liabilities. So if you have picture you yourself have taken, then Wikipedia welcomes that. :-) --seav (talk) 07:37, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re:The Running Man Barnstar

Thank you loads for the barnstar. Never have I seen so many contributors from this region coming together to edit in a single group of articles, and I hope this will be sustained as there is still much work to be done. Thanks once again!--Huaiwei (talk) 06:24, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:FEU advocate1.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:FEU advocate1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:37, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

The campaign includes seeking your assistance in:

Or just anything you can do to help us just like what you are doing there at the English Wikipedia.

Thank you in advance and regards, Tagalog Wikipedia Community

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Feuadvocate old.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Feuadvocate old.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:09, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
