There is no information on the internet about Mr Colin Gould's departure, but an article in a 1995 edition of the Dudley News reported that he had been removed from his position over allegations of falsifying school documents.

is listed as 1963. This doesn't seem right - I was part of the first intake when I transferred from Queen Vic, where I had already completed two years of primary school. But I was born in 1959. The sums suggest 1965 or 1966 as the opening date ...
