Talk:Alden Thompson

[edit] Liberal?
Recent edits added the following content:
- "Some say he has departed from the Official Seventh-day Adventist guidelines for Bible interpretation (see Methods of Bible Study at http://www.adventist.org/beliefs/other_documents/other_doc4.html ). He is considered a liberal Seventh-day Adventist Theologian."
Please give citations (see Wikipedia:Verifiability) before adding content which may be considered controversial. Samuel Koranteng-Pipim may well have written something along these lines. I understand one of his books was largely a rebuttal to Thompson's?
I have effectively added the comments (reworded) to Seventh-day Adventist theology#View of Scripture, and in toned-down form to a new section Alden Thompson#Theology. Colin MacLaurin 14:18, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
hmmm, interesting.. Me, i`ve started reading his very new book: ( geman Edition) "Sind Propheten unfehlbar ?" , english: Can prophets be wrong ? and find it pretty good and guiding a lot of involved , engaged, interestd people a long distance on a pretty correct way... GOOD GUY and an important book, seems to me.. but, as very usual at SDa- church´s cirxcles. The person behind the Book seems to be of no real sozial competence and isn`t qualified to answer my email- questions at all... there almost only everyday`s hospitality words are delivered... The standard 2 ekklesigenl neurotics as most of these gusy ?! seems so , sit and wait, maybe i can get him started dealing with real life and real people... 85.177.198.124 (talk) 20:04, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
