Apart from the unions of the Russell Group universities (listed above), the University of London Union is an observer due to four of its constituent unions being members. The National Union of Students is also an observer. The final observer to the Aldwych Group is the National Postgraduate Committee, due to the high numbers of graduate students in Russell Group universities and their research intensive focus.

The group elects a Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary at their handover meeting in July. The current committee is:
- Chair - Josh Macalister - President, Edinburgh University Students' Association

- Secretary - Susan Nash, Vice President Education, Leeds University Union
