Aldo Simoncini

Aldo Simoncini (born August 30, 1986) is a goalkeeper for European Minnows San Marino. Aldo is a full-time player along with national team captain Andy Selva.

Aldo has been with the national team for Euro 2008 qualifiers. He started the game against Germany. Germany put 13 goals past him. Aldo was dropped for the game against the Republic of Ireland on November 15, 2006. He started the return game and was part of the San Marino team that were 3 seconds from their greatest result when Manuel Marani scored to make it 1-1. He has a twin brother, Davide Simoncini, who's currently playing for Valleverde Riccone.
