Aldham is a village and civil parish in the Babergh district of Suffolk, England. It is about eight miles west of Ipswich. According to Eilert Ekwall the meaning of the village name is Ealda's meadow/enclosure or old meadow/enclosure.The Domesday Book records the population of Aldham in 1086 to be 16. The parish has a population of 200.
